About
The Entre Club of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura plays a vital role in empowering undergraduates to become innovative, confident, and business minded individuals. The main objective of the club is to transform students’ creative ideas into practical business plans and successful products that can progress toward commercialization.
Through a wide range of activities including entrepreneurship workshops, innovation challenges, startup competitions, one to one mentoring, and networking events the Entre Club provides valuable opportunities for students to gain hands on experience in entrepreneurship. In addition, seminars featuring successful entrepreneurs and startup founders help students learn from real-world success stories and develop a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
Beyond entrepreneurship, the club also places a strong emphasis on developing essential soft skills such as leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem solving. These skills are cultivated through interactive sessions, collaborative projects, and event management experiences, ensuring that students grow both professionally and personally.By combining innovation with skill development, the Entre Club continues to strengthen the entrepreneurial culture within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, inspiring students to turn their ambitions into impactful ventures that contribute meaningfully to society and the economy.

Inspires the next generation of entrepreneurs by spreading the passion for entrepreneurship culture at the faculty of FHSS.

Educate faculty students by helping them to identify the opportunities to become a successful entrepreneur through our series of events.

We begin the project with our own startup competition in the faculty and accelerate them with workshops and services.
